I help turn uncertain product questions into dependable software.

I’m a senior software engineer whose work spans products and platforms. I helped take Overboxd from inception to market launch, built content tooling and rendering infrastructure at Uber, and now lead worker-reliability work at Clipboard.

I’m happiest when the path is unclear. Sometimes the most useful first answer is “don’t build it.” When we do build, I want enough observability and evidence to change course early.

I use AI-assisted development every day. I’m learning how to make it useful without lowering the bar for verification or judgment.

Outside engineering, I’m a dad and I run Your Daily Photographer. Woodworking and 3D printing are how I keep making things away from a screen.

I’m based in Sacramento, CA and work on Pacific Time.
