The product boundary

Sellers needed a single operational system for inventory management, order processing, placement, and shipment.

The product started at inception rather than as an extension of an existing platform.

02 / decisions

One operating path from inventory to shipment

As an engineer building the product from inception to market launch, I connected seller inventory to central order placement, processing, and shipment modules.

I also delivered integrations with Third Watch, Pyck, and BrownTape and helped onboard the first client, Delhivery, turning separate operational steps into one fulfillment path.

03 / validation

Validate the system under real operations

The product moved beyond an internal build into daily customer use. Client onboarding and production order volume tested the inventory model, vendor integrations, and handoffs between placement, processing, and shipment.

That operational feedback shaped the system while the customer base grew to 60 clients.

04 / outcomes

The market result

The SaaS launched to 60 clients, managed more than 46,000 SKUs, and processed over 20,000 orders.

Order-placement-to-shipment time fell from 40 hours to two hours.
